7 Youtube Channels You Should Be Watching

Five years later, everyone’s beloved Youtube is now more popular than ever. With nearly 24 hours of new video uploaded to the site every minute and over two billion views recorded daily, Youtube will continue to grow at an unprecedented rate.

In this post, I would like to share with you some of my favorite and most-watched Youtube channels and users. I hope you find something interesting and learn something new. If not, you can share some of your favorites in the comments section.

  1. Ray William Johnson

  2. If you ever needed someone to make any video funny, Ray William Johnson is your go-to-guy. He regularly posts videos(about twice a week) in which he comments on viral videos. As the fifth most subscribed Youtube user of all time, Ray is quickly becoming the most popular star on Youtube.

  3. Community Channel

    Subscribers: 680,158

  4. Besides her awesome Australian accent, Natalie Tran is one of the funniest personalities on Youtube. Her videos are basically about her ranting about random things in her life like commercials, movie hackers, and clip art. Her humor is very sarcastic and that’s what makes her so compelling to watch.

  5. Failblog

    Subscribers: 873,140

  6. Since when could people “fail” at parking, visiting the gas station, or proposing to your girlfriend? According to Failblog, always. Who hasn’t seen the video of the poor soul trying hopelessly to park their car?

  7. Peter Chao

    Subscribers: 356,975

  8. Peter Chao’s humor is not for everyone. You either love him, or wonder what the big deal is. Fortunately for me, I think he’s hilarious. I hope you agree to.

  9. Jimmy Kimmel Live

    Subscribers: 88,419

  10. I’m a huge fan of late-night television and one of my favorite shows is Jimmy Kimmel Live. Unlike other hosts, he’s the only one who’s on Youtube and regularly uploads clips from his latest show.

  11. KevJumba

    Subscribers: 962,084

  12. If you haven’t seen any of Kevin’s videos, then you don’t know what you’re missing. As a college student, he brings an interesting perspective on life. His insights on his life are entertaining to watch and his videos usually garner over a million views.

  13. Improv Everywhere

    Subscribers: 376,513

  14. Improv Everywhere is a group that is famous for performing pranks in public areas. With the slogan “We Cause Scenes,” the group’s videos are highly captivating and intriguing to watch.Who can resist not wanting to see the reaction of bystanders as a flash mob breaks out into a random musical?

Good post, Tony. I never really get on YouTube unless I am looking for a particular kind of DIY technique or something along those lines. I guess I never really think about other uses for it.
    Will check your suggestions out.
But I know for sure I do not like Jimmy Kimmel.
He, my good sir, is no Conan.
He would be a piss-poor intern on Letterman.
He is not even a poor man’s Jay Leno.
His mom must be part of ABC/DIsney family. It’s the only conceivable way he would be able to have a show.
Surely, his father must have made some sort of deal with Beelzebub (human sacrifice comes to mind) to give his son the sort of half-fame career he now enjoys.
Yep. I’m not much of a Kimmel Fan.

Say whaaaaaat!?#$ Not a Kimmel fan? Ay curumba! Sure, he looks totally out of it most of the time but come on! He’s at least better than Mr. Big Chin! Right? The only late-night hosts I ain’t a fan of is that dude with the white hair who’s not even funnier than our Commander-in-Chief, the dude that used to be on MTV, Kimmy Fallon, and that guy with the funny accent. Other than that, Conan’s gold, Letterman’s great, and Kimmel is worth watching.

Good list. Community Channel can be pretty funny. She is the only one on the list that I subscribe to even though Kevjumba is cool. Nowadays, I usually get on Youtube to watch old videos; revisiting my youth.
